About us

Bonk was started by two friends from Vancouver, BC who noticed a problem. Fuelling for long distance endurance events, whether it’s marathons, cycling, ultras, or just long Type 2 Fun days, is expensive, not enjoyable, and intimidating.

We wanted fuel that actually tasted like food. Something you’d actually crave, not just tolerate. Something that encourages and entices athletes of all levels to fuel better.

So we made it.

Bonk delivers 50g of carbs in something made from real, familiar ingredients. No gimmicks. No lab coat required.

The name? That legs-gone, world-is-ending feeling when you run out of fuel mid-effort. That’s Bonking. We’ve both been there. We made this product so you don’t have to go back.
